  1. I’m reading Muscle Shoals Sound Studio for the first time and I am really enjoying the experience. Thank you! Additionally, I wanted to comment on your practice of tracking your book reading. I began doing this about 4 years ago, initially, I hoped to motivate myself to read more. Raising small children, I found myself relying on the internet for articles of interest consumable in short sittings and my practice had become starting books and rarely finishing them. My goal was to only count books that I read completely. I was shocked at my lack of discipline, and was discouraged and even ashamed of my lack of progress. Now I’m the middle of my 4th year, and have finally found some momentum, and have rediscovered the joys and rewards of reading that I was afraid were lost to me forever. As a bonus, I have an honest record of my interests and directions in my life that I was unaware I was missing. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to any lapsed reader as a barometer on the road to improved mental health. Thanks for asking for thoughts on the subject- these are mine!
