    walked in cold water books about noon and bought your book….think that may have been you sitting there eating, with the books…..just started it and like it so far….page 26…..I think “respect” was recorded in new York….the swampers played on it but not at FAME studios…..duane allman was nick-named “skydog”….I believe……I think i’m right about this…..

    • Hey Paul, thanks for reading. Yes, “Respect” was recorded with the Swampers in New York. Only “I Never Loved A Man…” and part of “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man” were recorded in the Shoals.
